Disable In-Video Advertising
K then End, then K. Or scroll to end of Video and click repeat | As of 2020 you can still disable advertising in the middle of videos by scrolling to the end of the video and clicking on repeat. You identify the presence of in-video advertising by yellow markers on timeline at the bottom of the video. Does not work for ads at the beginning and end of the video. If Autoplay is enabled or video is part of the playlist, press Escape to cancel autoplay before repeating. If you are on a Smartphone, you can’t disable autoplay. Instead – start the video briefly, stop it, go to your viewing history, play the video from there, scroll to the end, and repeat. |
